beautiful morning & emotions slip a glacier loses its grip

The two singles beautiful morning & emotions slip a glacier loses its grip was made in Berlin and Copenhagen with artist Karen Juhl, Julia Jazz, Thea Blay, Joana Pratschke and Marcel Knabe Eisenreich.

The song emotion slip a glacier loses its grip, tells Julia's story about walking in the landscapes of Ukraine. Taking in the beauty, looking at the wholesomeness. Something is wrong, though, a place you know so dearly is a victim of someone's violent rage. Feeling emotionally displaced in a world where people is “waiting for someone who is waiting for someone else” to change the tragic events; emotions slip, a glacier loses its grip is a song about waiting in war in a claustrophobia. The lyrics came out of pride and hope. From the first days of the Russian invasion Julia Jazz’s brother joined the army to protect Kyiv. Julia is waiting for her brother who is waiting in a war for someone else. Some huge and intwined structures. “тьох тьох” are words that describe the sound of birdsong. Julia wanted to create a melody that felt free and comforting as a bird. A lullaby written for all the heroes who sacrifice their life to defend civilians. A pray.
